Haworthia cooperi is a plant of quiet wonder. This small South African succulent forms neat, compact rosettes of plump, fleshy leaves tipped with translucent, glassy windows that allow light to filter through to the inner leaf tissue, a clever adaptation to its natural habitat where it often grows partially buried in sandy soil.
